"The Monk and the fish" is inspired by a short cartoon film, in which a little monk is hunting a little fish. The monk will not be able to get the fish and finally, after long fight they fly together to heaven.
I tried to show all of these aspects in the music. My special interest was, to use contemporary techniques in a different and unique way, where every sound that the instruments can make, plays an important role.
Mostly I tried to get percussion sounds from the instruments and make a drumset out of it (without using the drums or percusssion instruments) - only with the sounds that the musicians can make out of the instruments. The piece is supposed to be a fun one for the player and the audience.
The very difficult rhythmic structere and many different playing techniques make it also a kind of a show piece. The important role of percussive sounds, which I used in different systems, should make it easier to read the music.
The Musical Fairytales are 5 short piece about different characters or of other programatic content.
They piece shall inspire the fantasy.

adventures and original orchestra piece with exciting rhythms and and orchestrations
The piece was commissioned by accordionist Michael Bauer and was so succesful that it was arranged for different instrumentations.
The piece was commissioned by the Duo Flaccord.
The Center of the piece is SoundRhythm - Sound world. It is about changes on the inside. Outrhythme starts with a fight and the unstoppable impulse to go further. This impulse leads to the knowledge in Inrhythme and ends with the acceptance and synchronization of all things in Intorhythme. The three movements go fluently from one to another. There is no stopping. The tunes are delivered from one movement to another and create new soundscapes like an aural Kaleidoscope. The music shall go "Intoyou" and free your fantasy and imagination.
